Our Take

The Casper Original is the mattress that sparked the bed-in-a-box revolution. With three zones of targeted support, AirScape perforated foam for cooling, and a medium-firm feel that suits most sleepers, it delivers hotel-quality sleep at a fraction of traditional mattress prices. The 100-night risk-free trial makes it an easy choice for hesitant buyers.

What we love

Excellent pressure relief for shoulders and hips
Stays cooler than traditional memory foam
Minimal motion transfer — partner will not disturb you
Easy setup — unboxes and expands in minutes
10-year warranty provides long-term peace of mind

Where it falls short

May be too soft for stomach sleepers over 230 lbs
Edge support is adequate but not exceptional
Price increases significantly for larger sizes
